Woke up early this morning and got some more interviews. Talked to several wonderful people from Cove, Arizona, where most of the mining took place. Got lots of b-roll of wells and spent the rest of the day at the Shiprock. Long drive to the actual huge part of the rock, but super great when we got there. So quiet. The sunset was beautiful as was dinner. Will write more tomorrow with more pictures; however, off to sleep for the night. We need to rest our little heads.

Arrived in Shiprock, NM today and got some good interviews with former miners. We passed through Cuba on the way here! Cuba, NM that is....unfortunately it was a little colder than the real Cuba probably is.

We're up bright and early and are about to be on the road to Shiprock! Day 1 has begun..
