Headed to Church Rock today and then back to Albuquerque tonight. Early to finish. But still a lot to do!

Yesterday we did the 17 mile loop around Monument Valley. Now we're off to Window Rock. Thanks to The View Hotel in Monument Valley for putting us up for free!

Getting up this early...worth it. The sunrise in Monument Valley yesterday was beautiful. Worth almost freezing my little toes off. :)

Staying up until 2am was very worthwhile... The stars were gorgeous last night.

Staying up late to film the stars and waking up early to film the sunrise. Oh what a night...

As Beth said: no picture can do it justice. We got to have this as our playground today and will tomorrow as well. We had an absolutely amazing day with Ben Stanley and his wife. They showed us mines in their area and we even saw yellow cake. The radioactive product of uranium mining. They had amazing stories. We just enjoyed a lovely dinner with them and now are off to see the stars in the beautiful clear sky. Night!
